Well, I suppose my first thought would be "I thought Slammiversary was their version of WrestleMania". Hmm...guess not. Anyways, here's my predictions.
Bobby Roode vs. Lance Hoyt
-They're trying to give Roode a push off the heels of Team Canada disbanding, so this one is a no brainer.
Winner-Roode
Kevin Nash Gauntlet Invitational
-eh, this match hasn't had very much buildup so far. I would say that they'll have some surprise entrant come in and shock Nash.
Winner-Sonjay Dutt, I guess.
Eric Young vs. Larry Zbyszko-Loser Gets Fired
-Seriously, who else out there is tired of seeing Zbyszko in TNA? Plus, Young is over like nobody else in TNA. Gotts go with Showtime.
Winner-Eric Young
AMW vs. Team 3D vs. The James Gang vs. The Naturals
-Naturals are still getting a push thanks to Douglas. This will set up a feud between them and the tag champs (which I will get to in a moment)
Winners-The Naturals
Raven vs. Abyss vs. Samoa Joe vs. Brother Runt-Monsters Ball
-Bet the farm against Joe. Right now. His record in matches involving more than one opponent straight up sucks. I'll go with Abyss to even out the nuber of heel/face wins.
Winner-Abyss
Rhino vs. Christian Case-8 Mile Street Fight
-This is "Rhino's match", it's "Rhino's score to settle", so it stands to reason they'll make this "Rhino's win".
Winner-Rhino
Senshi vs. Chris Sabin-X Division Title
-I'm sensing a slow heel turn from Sabin, so giving him the title would be bad from a creative standpoint. Plus, Senshi has been good in the ring.
Winner-Senshi
Styles/Daniels vs. LAX-Six Sides of Steel for Tag Team Titles
-Match of the night. Right here. Styles and Daniels, while they have been successful, still feel to me like a bit of a hodgepodge since TNA didn't know what to do with either of them. I say LAX wins, setting up a feud with the Naturals.
Winners-LAX
Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett-NWA World Heavyweight Title (Special enforcer Kurt Angle)
-Sting's one year contract is just about up, and you can tell from his matches of late that his tank is running on E. I say he pulls out as many tricks as he has left, but Jarrett will win, with Angle playing no real role in the outcome.
Winner-Jeff Jarrett
