Despite his loss at UFC 60, I still say Royce Gracie is the greatest MMA fighter of all time. It's hard to imagine MMA today if Royce hadn't competed in the first UFC's.

I don't think so, because Gracie dominated in an era when he was facing nothing but bar fighters and wrestlers basically.
These days, everyone knows Jiu Jitsu. He was a mystery back in the day, and that's how he managed so many wins.

He was a mystery back in the day, and that's how he managed so many wins. Agreed. I wouldn't even say he's anywhere near the best Jiu Jitsu practitioner of all time, let alone MMA. His contribution to the start of MMA was valuable, but to rate him above the premier fighters of today is nonsensical.
